Who Does This Role Report Into? Executive Director - Head of Building Consultancy

Role Summary / Purpose and Scope
The Senior Building Surveyor is responsible leading various instruction types across all
Building Surveying facets, with an expectation of having had a reasonable level of
experience previously. Initially, there will be an expectation to assist with client
management and support, with a view to having an increasing responsibility and becoming
main point of contact for a variety of clients.
Surveyors, initially taking on an informal management and learning development role.
This will become structured.
Skills, Knowledge and Values:
Skills (People & Technical)
- An understanding of the rationale behind the building surveying opportunities and showing a readiness to engage.
- Client facing skills
- Auto CAD proficient
- Able to hit deadlines, targets and KPI's on tasks/instructions
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels
- Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages
- Proactive, flexible attitude to changes in the company, IT systems and the role
- Fulfil the compliance and policy requirements in accordance with MAPP policies and procedures and the relevant legislative framework

Experience and Salary:
Level of Experience / Certifications:
3-5 years experience of working in a similar role
Working Hours:9am - 5.30pm Monday - Thursday and 9am - 5pm Friday***
Salary Range (Based on Experience)
Competitive salary, depending on experience.
