About the company
A well established Managed Serviced Provider is looking for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their team.

They are looking for someone who is passionate, proactive and is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment as well as take onan increased responsibility.

You will also be required to be on call out of hours according to a rota in order to support key systems.

Responsibilities:

Installing servers, storage and various network equipment (firewall/switch/AP) at DC or client sites
VEEAM Backup and Replication manage customer and DC infrastructure backups
Assist systems IT Manager in project planning, design and implementation
Carrying out internal IT projects as directed by the MD/IT Director

MS Active Directory

DNS, DHCP, Group Policies support & administration
VMware vSphere support (vCenter/ESXi)

Firewall support

Cisco/FortiGate configuration and administration of firewall policies and VPN

Essential Skills and personal qualities

OS: Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 (AD, IIS, DNS, DHCP, DFS, RDS, Failover Cluster)
GPO administration creating, managing and troubleshooting
Virtualization platform: VMware vSphere administration
Messaging: O365 Exchange Online
TCP/IP: switch/firewall, installation/configuration and t/s and network administration
SAN/

NAS:
iSCSI/DAS/CIFS/NFS - understanding core concept and management
