Our client is a highly respected food manufacturer supplying a range of products to commercial partners in the UK and internationally.

We are assisting them as they seek to appoint a Senior Development Technologist to the R&D team.


Accountabilities:

Innovate new products and processes in response to customer briefs to maintain and grow a creative catalogue of products for our customersTo motivate and inspire direct reports up to Development Technologist level to achieve personal development and continual improvement.

Manage focused development of new products to deliver the required margin for our customers and the business.

Able to develop new products to meet internal and external standards and requirements for a broader area of responsibilityThe successful applicant will be a skilled and passionate food professional with extensive knowledge in the industry.

You will be comfortable working with retailer demands and processThe candidateA food technology, food science or product design related qualification2-4 years experience in a similar role for a food manufacturing business.

Excellent communication skills.
An enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
You'll be comfortable in a fast paced environment, managing multiple projects and working to deadlines.
