Langley, Slough Depot Mobile Crane Operator

This role will be working Monday to Friday and a minimum of 50 hours a week paying Qualifies £13.00-£16.00 per hour depending on your experience.

OTE in this Role 50 to 60K when time & Half and Double time at weekends are carried out

This is a full time and permanent position.

A Mobile Crane Driver is responsible for operating an all-terrain mobile telescopic to lift, move, position, and reposition loads as required by the customer.

Main Job Roles:

Drive the crane from the depot and to arrive on the requested site, at the time of request, on arrival on site set up the crane as per the relevant machine manufacturers' operating manual in the position identified in the method statement compiled by the customer or the company.
Operate the crane via communications from onsite slinger/ signallers' utilising 2way radios or hand signals as required by the requirements of the onsite method statement
Operate an allterrain mobile telescopic crane as allocated by the company based on previous experience and following assessment from a manufacturer inducted or competent operator of the allocated machine.
Fit flyjib as required by customer / method statement and remove on completion of relevant lifts for stowing on machine.
Complete operator timesheet relevant to the requested hire; ensure customer representative signs timesheet on arrival on site signalling machine acceptance prior to rigging machine and on completion of requested works prior to derigging machine and leaving site.
Carry out preoperational checks on machine as required via company policy and complete company documentation identifying any issues arising from those checks.
Complete routine maintenance as required, the frequency of which is as per company policy with the assistance of the depot crane engineer as required.

Experience Required

CPCS Mobile Crane Operators card
Blue card preferred (Red Card Accepted)
The ability to speak & read the English language so that the requirements identified within the method statement are understood.
Must be able to pass a mobile crane operator Safety Critical Work Medical
A valid HGV Class 2 Licence,
Previous experience operating all terrain mobile telescopic cranes.

Salary:
£13.00-£16.00 per hour
