    As an Inspection Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products/services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for leading a team of inspectors, overseeing inspection processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve quality standards.

    The ideal candidate should have a strong background in inspection methodologies, leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining quality standards.

    Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Inspection Team: Lead and manage a team of inspectors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee inspection processes to ensure products/services meet established quality criteria and comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness of inspection processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, create reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for inspectors to enhance their skills and knowledge in inspection techniques and quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as production and engineering, to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

  • Relevant professional qualification/membership of industry body IFIA, Deck Officer.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • GCSE Maths & English (grades A to C) or equivalent.
  • Experience

  • Experience in the service sector related to the petrochemical industry.
  • Experience of directly communicating with clients and successfully resolving clients issues/complaints.
  • Previous experience of operating in a co-ordination or supervisory role within a successful team.
