Do you spend more time on social media than you do in the real world?

Do you enjoy creating content?

If so, we have the perfect role for you

This is a great opportunity for someone who is entering or is re-entering the workforce.

You will play a key role in supporting the marketing team in creating content that adheres to and expands our brand policy for our social media channels (primarily LinkedIn, and Instagram), alongside creating content that supports our sales channels.

This role is open to either full-time or part-time, and while it is in-office, there is potential for hybrid working.

There are progression and development prospects as the role grows with you.

We are an independent, family-run business rates reduction specialist.

RVA Surveyors provide business owners and leaders with the advice they need to review their business rates (commercial property tax).

As such we are B2B, which is the main focus of our marketing strategy.

It is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of B2B marketing or business rates, simply an open and creative mind.

As an agile, multi-skilled B2B marketing department, we are looking for someone who can support our creative output as well as maintaining the company website and social media channels.

Keeping on top of trends and news within the industry is a must.

We are looking for someone who is able to work collaboratively as part of our team, with effective organisational skills that enables them to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Hours: 8:45am-5:30pm (part-time hours available)

What are we looking for in our Social Media Content Creator?

As our Social Media Content Creator, you will have a working knowledge of our key social media platforms, trends, audiences, and be able to generate various types of online content which can be tailored.

All content will be submitted for review before posting.

We are looking for a creative person with a solid basis in content design, but is bold, eager, and not afraid to try something new.

We'd love to see a portfolio of content you have created beforehand - it doesn't matter the topic, industry, or platform

You can submit your portfolio either as hyperlinks in your CV, or instead of a Cover Letter.

Expectations/Requirements:

Previous experience in a social media role is preferred
Creating weekly content including (but not limited to) videos, imagery, and iconography
Maintenance and management of the company website
Industry analysis and supporting creation of endofmonth reports
Basic knowledge and understanding of engaging with and increasing audiences
Strong design skills (experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar would be an advantage but not essential)
Someone who is detailorientated, sociable, and ready to learn
Knowledge of programs such as WordPress would be a bonus
Strong communication skills
