JOB- Quality Engineer
TERM- Permanent

My client is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis in the Slough area.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding and passionate about Lean Manufacturing and will be mainly responsible for improving quality of the companys operational processes and output
The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
~ The Quality Engineer role will involve:

Drive standardisation on processes along with waste elimination and continuous improvement
Support 8D activities on parts connected to internal or supplier quality concerns
Working on NPI products and supplier quality development, implementing new processes
Develop and maintain quality assurance throughout product development cycle for NPI
Collating material compliance data, report writing where necessary
Monitor supplier performance, define process parameter to ensure process capability
Monitor output, quality & scrap rates. Improving OTD performance
Identify, lead and participate in improvement project - member of the CI team
