    Salary: Grade 5 pointSt Lawrence C.E. Primary School is a larger than average primary school with over 600 pupils, arranged into three classes in each year group, serving the beautiful village of Hurstpierpoint, just north of Brighton.

The Emotional Literacy Support Assistant Programme is an initiative that was designed by Educational Psychologists to build the capacity of schools in supporting the social, emotional and mental health needs of their pupils.

At St Lawrence, we require an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) to work as part of our friendly and supportive Inclusion Team.

We are looking for a warm, caring, dedicated and organised person who is keen to help ensure that all children feel happy in school and are therefore able to reach their full potential educationally.


  • Safeguarding of our pupils is the responsibility of all members of the School's staff and governing body.Visits to the school are welcome and encouraged.
