    Job summary

    We are looking for a full time Senior Clinical Team Administrator to support the under 18's Eating Disorder Service across Norfolk. The current vacancy will be to support the teams across Norfolk with clinical and service administration tasks as well as having a supervisory role.

    The successful candidate will work with the team providing ongoing day-to-day administrative support and assisting the ED leadership team to continually refine and improve the service offered. They will work alongside the other administrators in the service.

    This is a fixed term position for 18 months.

    Main duties of the job

    The ideal post holder will be keen and motivated to improve the care and support offered to children, young people and families. The post holder will need to be well organised, have experience in administrative settings, and ideally have knowledge about healthcare/the NHS. The post holder will have supervision responsibilities for the other administrators in the team and will be responsible for supporting the wider clinical team. They will work under the supervision of the Business Support Manager. There will be opportunities to work collaboratively with and gain support from the wider Norfolk Specialist Services Care Group.

    Person Specification

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • Pitman/RSA III Typing / Word Processing or equivalent secretarial experience at advanced level.
  • NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent or willing to work towards.
  • NVQ 2 Customer Services or working towards
  • Experience

  • Understanding and experience in a full range of secretarial procedures and systems gained through senior level.
  • Skills

    Essential

  • ICT skills including Microsoft (especially spreadsheets and presentations, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent.
