Title:
Payroll Manager


Salary:
Up to £60,000


Location:
Hertfordshire


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the processing of the monthly payroll ensuring a high standard of accuracy.
  • Manage End of Year processes and ensure legal obligations are met.
  • Manage benefits and incentive payments through the PAYE settlement agreement.
  • Ensure the combined payroll system is enhanced and used appropriately.
  • Manage the contact with insurance brokers, benefit vendors and other external benefits providers as required and in liaison with the HR Director.
  • Assist with the design of fair and attractive compensation and bonus programs where necessary.

Experience:


  • Good knowledge of MS Office and Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in a team environment with ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Must be well organized and efficient.
  • Experienced in HR and Payroll systems is essential, particular iTrent
  • Experienced in T&A systems would be an advantage, Kronos UKG especially.
  • Experience in retail (desired).
