SALARY:

£40,000 - £50,000 + Uncapped Commission + Car/Car Allowance

National Role - HQ based in Kent

The Role:

Your opportunity to join a leading organisation within the Transport & Logistics sector as their new Business Development Manager. Their customers range from Global manufacturers through to SME's. They transport Chilled, Frozen, Pharma, High Value & Electricalwith the majority being Food stuffs.


The Business Development Manager will play a key role in the next stage of their growth strategy, driving further commercial opportunities across a defined territory.

This includes developing and expanding contacts, attracting new customers and researchingnew market opportunities. This is a result driven appointment and therefore provides an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, target driven individual.


Duties and Responsibilities Include:


  • Developing plans for business/revenue growth based on objectives set by senior management
  • Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
  • Researching prospective accounts in target markets
  • Pursuing leads and moving them through to a sale
  • Developing and delivering proposals for prospective clients
  • Attending industry relevant events and trade shows

  • Experienced in using a variety of sales and marketing techniques to access decision makers
  • Strong interpersonal skills when communicating with decision makers by telephone / video conferencing
  • Dynamic, highenergy and tenacious individual capable of personally generating new business sales opportunities
  • Organised, efficient and selfmotivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • An exceptional communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • A strong and hardworking team player with the gravitas to engage, influence and sell at Clevel
