We are currently looking for an Assistant Yard Manager to join our Operations Team and be part of our continuing growth at our Sandtoft Operation Centre.

You will be responsible for leading and supporting the yard team to provide excellent service to our customers and to ensure Copart processes are followed, under the general supervision of the General Manager.

You will play a pivotal role in the recruitment and development of staff and the continuous improvement of our current procedures including Health & Safety and the efficient running of the yard operation.

You will be a role model to the team, by living and demonstrating our values; Act with Integrity, Be an Owner, Challenge the Norm, Get Results and Celebrate our people. You will have the opportunity to challenge the norm and actively work with colleagues to improve service delivery and measures of engagement.

To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience in a similar role, of adhering to strict Health & Safety procedures and of working within a customer focused role.

• A strong leader, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in leading and developing a successful team
• Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications
• Happy to work outside on occasions, in all weather conditions
