    Job Description
    • Modelling 3D updates in PDMS (E3D from 2025), and producing 2D and 3D deliverables based on the input data provided.
    • Develop detailed civil models for new build nuclear facilities, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory standards, and project specifications.
    • Collaborate closely with professionals to integrate civil models seamlessly into the overall facility design.
    • Contribute to the development of 3D models and assist in the coordination of civil designs with other engineering disciplines.
    • Generate comprehensive documentation, including material specifications, quantity take-offs, and construction details, to support the design and construction phases.
    • Ensure modelling is performed right first time, to ensure quality (e.g. geometry, attribute completion, etc.)
    • Provide technical support during the construction phase, collaborating with construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of the civil design.
    • Conduct periodic design reviews and assessments, addressing any modifications or improvements needed throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies related to civil modelling within nuclear environments.
    • Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the design engineering team, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Civil Designer, with a focus on design engineering for nuclear facilities.
    • Proficiency in CAD software like E3D and PDMS.
    • Familiarity with civil engineering principles, including grading, drainage, and foundation design.
    • Knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and industry standards related to civil design.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work in a multidisciplinary team.

    • Salary up to 50k per year
    • Location: Aztec West
    • 3 days on-site optional 2 days WFH
    • 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays
