    Opportunity to work with a growing carbon finance business that supports across project development, investment and carbon credit sales.

    Responsibilities: Senior Sales Manager

    • Implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive the growth of our voluntary carbon market solutions within the corporate sector.
    • Identify and target high-potential corporate clients interested in voluntary carbon offsetting and participation in the carbon market.
    • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, such as sustainability consultants, environmental organisations, and industry associations, to enhance our market presence and origination capability.
    • Originate and develop new business opportunities, leveraging your extensive network and industry knowledge.
    • Lead the sales function, providing guidance, mentorship, and support where needed. Foster a high-performance sales culture, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organisations.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within the business. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes related to the voluntary carbon market and corporate sustainability.
    • Provide regular reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management, highlighting sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for growth.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
    • Track record of success in sales leadership, preferably in the carbon offset or sustainability industry.
    • Experience in the voluntary carbon market, including origination and partnership development. Strong understanding of corporate sustainability, climate change, and environmental regulations. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high performing sales team.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
    • Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with experience in managing sales budgets and forecasting.
    • Well-established network within the carbon offset and sustainability industry.
    • Travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and partnership development.
