Main Purpose
You will perform duties associated with treatment, surface preparation, and coating of various surfaces.

You will prepare various interior surfaces and use various tools such as rollers brushes spray guns, thickness gauges and compressors and adequately mix, thin, blend and match coating materials.

Utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment. Use and ensure proper fit of required safety equipment and clothing.

Knowledge and Experience Required

Applicants must demonstrate the following: _
Knowledge or willingness to learn, of surface preparation and coating methods and techniques including special finishing techniques, and paints and thinning additives.
Knowledge or willingness to learn, all safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge or willingness to learn, all regulations pertaining to hazardous waste management.
Knowledge or willingness to learn the methods, techniques, devices, and materials best suited to obtain the surface condition and finish required.
Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment

Other Important Information

Hours of work: Start & end times may be modified due to mission needs and in accordance with organization's flexible working policies.
Will be required to handle and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with applicable US and UK laws, rules, and regulations.
Must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
May be assigned other duties that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the employee.
May be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft in the performance of official duties or attend necessary training. Position may be coded as mission essential
A 612month probationary period will be required
Overtime may be required
May be required to travel overnight to US or other countries in the performance of official duties or attend necessary training.
Will require a preemployment physical examination.
Must have a valid CAT B Driving license.
Exposure to toxic paints, chemicals, or other hazards may require occupational health examinations.
May be required to train and/or guide lower graded employees.
May be required to assist other workers in various crafts.
