- Develop intelligent control and software solutions to enhance functionality.
- Design, specify, and simulate control system strategies.
- Gather and break down requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed software design documents.
- Implement and develop control strategies through software build and calibration.
- Provide support for mechanical, electrical, and electronic design efforts as needed.
- Conduct test activities, including setup, testing, and reporting to meet project objectives.
- Act as a technical liaison with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Systems, or related engineering field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficient communication of technical concepts.
- Experience with computer simulation tools such as vehicle simulation, eMachine, and mechatronic actuation.
- Strong grasp of control theory and practical strategy development and calibration.
- Familiarity with software like MATLAB, Simulink for simulation and auto-coding, C/C++ in an embedded real-time environment, data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., Vector toolsuite, INCA), and requirements and test case management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama, Codebeamer, vTest).

One of my key clients working in the EV/Motorsport sector is recruiting for a Senior Controls and Software Engineer.
I am seeking a seasoned Controls and Software Engineer adept at crafting and implementing solutions across various engineering projects. You'll be instrumental in designing control strategies and software, whether building from scratch or enhancing existing systems. Collaboration with analysis, systems, electrical/electronics, and vehicle component engineers will be key.
