    Salary between £40K - £45K subject to experience

    At VIP Management Solutions Ltd we are part of the DisasterCare Platinum Network aiding in the restoration of domestic and commercial properties and contents items within, returning these back to their pre-loss conditions, as well as to aid insured customers back into their homes as soon as possible following escapes of water, fire/smoke damage or flooding.

    The Operations Manager will be responsible to organise and oversee the daily operations of our restoration, administration, and content divisions. You will be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business to facilities long term success.

    This is a hands-on role, and the successful candidate will need to manage the day to day running of the restoration business and manage the performance and engagement of the teams ensuing that they are providing excellent customer service whilst producing the right business outcome.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with the Directors to agree business objectives and long-term goals.
    • Plan and monitor the day to day running of the restoration business to ensure smooth progress.
    • Design and implement KPI's and other business objectives for all teams. Provide monthly MI that shows key indicators such as performance, progression, quality and capacity within the office and field.
    • Support and implement any projects and/or systems changes that will support growth in the business and efficiency across the team.
    • Work with all supporting systems for the clients to deliver correct services.
    • Closely liaise with management team to enable end to end co-ordination, resource allocation and customer satisfaction.
    • Perform HR duties such as recruiting and organisation of training of staff as well as disciplinary processes in place for employees.
    • Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to the business objectives and where required apply improvements. Ensure that the teams are utilising all tools and systems to the best of their ability to all claims to be managed and action in a timely manner.
    • Review financial key performance indicators and look at ways to improve the process to ensure that all claims are priced correctly and profitable.
    • Manage and operate within client SLAs
    • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation.
    • Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role.
    • Excellent organisational and management skills
    • Outstanding communication and people management skills
    • Experience in restoration and/or insurance industry.
    • Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines
    • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
    • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software
