Sensient Colors UK Ltd. King's Lynn Norfolk have an opportunity for an Engineering Intern placement.
Job Summary
The Engineering Intern is responsible for providing support in the development of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) within the Kings Lynn Site.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Develop a mechanism to collect Team KPIs (MTTR, MTBF and PM schedule adherence)
Assists with the preparation of Engineering documentation.
Roll out 5S programme within Maintenance Team
Develop Autonomous Maintenance programme (Starting with Key equipment)
Catalogue Engineering spares (utilizing FIIX database).
Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Able to work independently and as part of a team on projects.
Able to establish and maintain working relationships with employees across all levels.
Good professional appearance and demeanour.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
Skills using AutoCAD would be an advantage
Able to deliver effective and accurate results and meet deadlines.
Good judgement and decision-making skills.
Well-organised, detail-orientated and a self-starter.
Education Experience:
Previous Engineering internship experience is preferred but not required.
Intern should be a minimum status of A level and preferably working towards a degree program in an Engineering discipline.
