    Job Description

    We have an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled Senior/Principal Chemist to join as a key member of the team at Concrete4Change.

    We are looking to fill multiple positions. All openings are currently available and will be filled with the best candidates we find. Quality is our priority.

    Job Title: Chemist (Title may vary based on experience)

    ***Seeking proactive scientists with an entrepreneurial mindset***

    C4C can provide visa sponsorship for working in the UK.

    Compensation: £50,000 - £85,000

    • Base Salary + Car Allowance
    • Generous share options (seeking entrepreneurial individuals)
    • Performance-based bonuses

    Start date: Permanent position, available for immediate start (flexible start date based on notice period)

    Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:

    Essential:

    • PhD in Chemistry
    • Experience in CO2 capture and recycling technologies
    • Expertise in material synthesis and characterization
    • Proven track record in leading R&D teams and project management
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate
    • Experience in complex systems characterization
    • Previous work experience in the UK or Europe

    Desirable:

    • Proposal and grant writing experience
    • Knowledge of computational chemistry and simulation
    • Understanding of carbon capture and storage
    • Patent writing and proposal development skills
    • Expertise in CO2 mineralization and concrete chemistry
    • Fluency in English and another European language
