    Title: Secondary Teaching assistant

    Location: Lincoln

    Salary: £ £90.00 per day

    Start date: ASAP

    Are you passionate about education and eager to make a real impact in schools.

    GSL Education are looking for a teaching assistant to come and work in a variety of different schools. This will help you gain experience as well as opening up many work opportunities.

    As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include planning engaging and stimulating activities for students, ensuring their safety, and fostering their educational and personal growth. This entails collaborating with the teacher and maintaining a high level of support for the children's development.

    Requirements:

    • Preferred experience within a school setting.
    • A comprehensive understanding of the UK's primary school system.
    • A Teaching Assistant qualification, such as CACHE Level 2 or 3.
    • Enthusiasm and a keen desire to contribute to teaching and learning.
    • The legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
    • A strong commitment to the success of students.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Exceptional classroom management abilities.
    • Effective communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents or caregivers.
    • An existing DBS update service registration or a willingness to apply for a DBS through GSL Education.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe and orderly environment.
    • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
    • Support the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
    • Create a captivating learning environment for children.
    • Participate in school meetings, briefings, and activities.
    • Assist with classroom activity planning and preparation.
