About the company

They are now looking for an On-Site Engineer to join their team based at their client's site in Oxford on a permanent, full-time basis.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced and vibrant IT environment. Our client is looking for someone who has a passion for IT and helping others.
Your technical responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring client requests are handled quickly and efficiently
  • Prioritising tickets to resolve technical queries
  • Assisting in the maintenance and distribution of software packages and operating systems, both manual and automated
  • Performing daily, weekly and monthly system check processes
  • Managing service and security incidents
  • Administering Active Directory and Microsoft 365 systems
  • Managing the company wide network infrastructure across all sites
  • Creating and updating technical documentation and knowledge base articles
Essential Skills and personal qualities

  • Demonstrable user and system support experience
  • Windows Server and Desktop operating systems experience
  • Strong Network & Infrastructure skills and experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Active Directory
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 management
  • Excellent customer support and customer relation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both
