    Location:South West or South East based. Hybrid role withfrequent travel for client and internalmeetings.

    What youll bedoing

    Were looking for apassionate and experienced individual to join us as Head ofEmployee Relations. The successful role holder will be responsiblefor leading guiding and developing our growing Employee Relationsteam whose work includes the application of employment law in arange of workplace scenarios. This includes disciplinary grievanceand absence cases policy development TUPE redundancy and definingterms and conditions of employment.

    You will workclosely with clients and colleagues to deliver exceptional workeffectively manage accounts and ensure client satisfactionthroughout. As a member of our leadership team you will contributeto and lead the strategic direction and goals of the businesstaking responsibility for resolving issues and achieving our growthplans.

    In addition to this you will also beresponsible for thefollowing:

    • Developing service deliverystrategies with the leadership team to enhance business growth andprofitability.
    • Identifying and resolving anyproblems in the service delivery teams to ensure they are quicklyresolved obstacles are removed and the teams can deliver anexceptional service to clients.
    • Working withdirect reports to ensure company strategies and initiatives arefully embedded throughout the ER team.
    • Growingand developing strong relationships with key accounts as well asmaintaining relationships with partners suppliers andassociates.
    • Working as a member of theleadership team supporting the strategic direction and goals of thecompany.
    • Providing expert advice and guidanceto clients on complex employee relations issues includingoverseeing projects and casework.
    • Leading theER team members to ensure they are coached and managed effectivelyto deliver their objectives.
    • Reviewing a rangeof work drafted by your team and other internal teams seekingexpert opinion where necessary to ensure it is of exceptionalquality.

    Aboutyou

    The ideal candidate will haveextensive experience in dealing with complex disciplinary grievanceperformance and ill health cases up to and including ET. You willalso come with strong experience of organisational business changeprocesses such as TUPE redundancies restructuring and changingterms and conditions of employment.

    You willhave a proven background of coaching leading and developing a teamand you will be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop andimplement organisational strategies.

    In additionto this you will have thefollowing:

    • Level 7 CIPD qualificationor an employment law qualification (orequivalent).
    • Extensive experience of developingpolicies and drafting contracts ofemployment.
    • Significant experience of workingwith best practice HR principles and expert knowledge of employmentlaw.
    • Experience in leading complex ER processesinvolving multiple stakeholders and workplaceinvestigations.
    • Ability to identify risks andprovide informed advice to team members colleagues andclients.
    • Experience of utilising your teamefficiently to meet project deadlines andestimates.
    • Exceptional written and verbalcommunication skills with experience of drafting detailed reportsand documentation.
    • Confidence in consultinginfluencing and partnering with key stakeholders up to boardlevel.
    • Comfortable using various IT systemsincluding the MS office suite.
    • Full drivinglicence and willingness totravel.

    Experience of working withinan HR consultancy or client services environment would beadvantageous and experience of working as part of a leadership teamwould be beneficial.
