Description

RPS is looking for a Senior Planner to join our National Planning & Infrastructure Team to be based in our Leeds city centre office (hybrid working arrangement available).

From major projects and nationally significant infrastructure including renewable energy projects to major residential, industrial and leisure developments, we bring precision and creativity to the development approvals process.

We are proud to be the Planning and EIA lead for substantial energy and infrastructure projects as well as large development projects across England, Scotland and Wales.

Our projects include on and off shore wind, hydrogen production, and other projects at the forefront of the transition to a Net Zero economy including Carbon Capture and alternative fuels, as well as port, industrial, business parks, city centre development, urban extensions and other residential development.

What you'll be doing


You'll be joining a large, well-established team and collaborative team who are committed to provide outstanding advice and outcomes for our clients.

This new role is a result of an ever-growing list of major instructions in the Leeds office serving clients across the UK.


Who we're looking for


An interest or some experience of energy development is advantageous as there will be substantial work related to this sector.

Good time and project management skills are a must as are sound influencing and communication skills that enable you to maintain working relationships with colleagues, clients and external bodies.
