    Talent Management Specialist - 12 month FTC

    London or Birmingham

    £37,000 - £47,000

    We are currently partnered with a global law firm looking for a Talent Management Specialist to support the delivery of the firm's Talent strategy across all geographies.

    Responsible for leading several Talent Management initiatives and projects that support the broader Talent strategy which will position the firm both internally and externally as a leader for development and retention.

    More about the role:

    • Independently lead talent projects with limited supervision, including maintenance of project plans, stakeholder maps, and change and communications plans
    • Coordinating all talent and leadership programmes on an annual basis
    • Own, maintain and deliver against key Talent Management projects within the people lifecycle
    • Build strong relationships with the HR Business Partner teams to enable them to support their clients across all business areas
    • Actively contribute to the delivery of firm-wide Talent priorities
    • Provide specialist subject matter expertise to support firm-wide initiatives
    • Keep up to date in key developments, research and best-practice in the field of Talent Development
    • Be a key point of specialist expertise to support leaders within the CoE teams
    • Leading on all aspects of the partner promotion process on an annual basis
    • Maintaining and delivering project plans, comms and engagement plans for all aspects of the process
    • Developing, guides and other support materials which accompany the partner and lawyer promotions process
    • Working with senior stakeholders to refine the process on an annual basis (Finance, Operations, HR)
    • Working with other talent specialists to ensure the talent review process identifies a diverse partner and lawyer pipeline
    • Co-ordinating each specific stage of the promotions process including MD and Board interviews
    • Developing and issuing critical communications to senior leaders - including SLT and Board members
    • Developing all required reports throughout the promotions cycle.
    • Implementing Leadership Development programmes both internally and with external vendors
    • Working with external vendors to ensure programmes are delivered to the highest possible standard
    • Working closely with L&D and HR to identify and validate participats following the annual talent review
    • Developing project, stakeholder an dcommunication plans to ensure high profile programmes are delivered to scope and buget
    • Tracking spend against the leadership development budget and ensuring all invoices are paid on time

    More about you

    • Have owned significant end-to-end Talent Development projects across the people lifecycle at a large, international organisation
    • Have coordinated high profile processes and programmes across a complex multi-stakeholder business
    • Confident in working and influencing senior stakeholders
    • Have extremely strong time management, organisational and project management skills
    • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
