Do you want to work within a supportive team on a variety of projects throughout the UK and further afield?

Due to growing demand across a range of exciting projects we have an exciting opportunity for a Fluvial Geomorphologist within our Geomorphology and River Restoration team.

The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of environmental compliance and will support our wider environmental and engineering teams to input into and deliver projects such as asset maintenance, refurbishment and replacement and flood defence design and build schemes.

Candidates should be prepared to travel throughout the UK and Ireland and spend occasional nights away from home.

Working within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects to time, budget and quality requirements.
Project Management and Managing specialist sub-contractors.
Using and analysing datasets, GIS and modelling outputs.
Writing concise and logical reports, including for example policy research, technical analysis of hydraulic datasets, recommending policies.
Presenting at client meetings and project workshops.
Tender writing.

Our current team is based predominantly at our Midlands office in Coleshill, B46 1HT although our approach to hybrid and flexible working means we will consider candidates for several office locations.

We are looking for well organised, motivated, enthusiastic, flexible individuals who can work on their own or as part of a team.

You should have an interest in water and the environment with strong analytical/problem solving skills and be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.

Project Management.
Water Framework Directive (WFD) working knowledge.
Experience using Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
Report writing and quality assurance.
A full UK Driving licence is required.

Contract management.
Policy and strategy development.
