    Description

    Who are we?

Strive is a leading UK-based market research consultancy of 25 people. We are a relatively young business, established in late 2015 but our business and reputation has grown rapidly.

In November 2023 we merged with Radius Insights, a leading US research company, to help drive growth across our client base. Our aim is to grow by doing great work for blue-chip clients in interesting areas with enthusiastic, inquisitive, and smart people.

    Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Finance Manager to help support our growth in the UK (and Europe) as we continue on our positive trajectory. It's an important role based in our London office.

To date, we've been managing finance alongside our day-to-day research jobs, with part time support and help from our Accountants. We've now reached the point where we need dedicated expertise to help us move forward.

You'll get involved in all aspects of our day-to-day financial operations, working alongside and as part of our friendly UK team. You'll also be a member of the Radius Global Finance Team (based in the US) representing our UK and European business in wider financial reporting.

    (detailed job spec below)

    What do we do?

There's quite a bit of detail on our website so please try and find a bit of time to have a look at it.

But, essentially, we are a market research consultancy that answers questions and identifies tangible commercial opportunities for businesses and organisations.

    So, how does that work?

Well, typically clients come to us with a challenge or question that they need to answer – it could be anything from 'what do customers really want in my sector' to 'how do I launch this new product or brand?' to 'how do I improve the customer experience?'. Our clients are household name brands in a wide range of categories from Technology to Fashion, Alcohol to Utilities.

We look at their need, define the issues we need to investigate and design a solution to do that. It could involve looking at existing data, doing in-depth qualitative research, quantitative questionnaires – any number of solutions. We then collect and analyse our findings before sharing our thoughts and direction with our clients.

Our projects can last anything from two weeks to 6 months, working with a number of partners and external suppliers to help us deliver. We're running lots of them, all over the world – so there's never a dull day.

How we work and what that entails

We've built a new, flat modern working structure using technology and flexibility to allow the best industry talent to work hands on with clients. We have a strong emphasis on working collaboratively that stems from our consultancy training. We know that the best ideas come from working in teams, so we make time to make that happen.

We make sure that the environment we work in is conducive to producing great work; the hours are reasonable, we work flexibly and treat everyone as a grown up.

We are based in Webber Street between Waterloo and London Bridge Stations – our office is an old pub, with a modern open plan layout. We like to come in regularly to collaborate on our projects but also give our team the flexibility to work at home when that suits too.

We like to work with people that like the sound of us and what we are trying to build. It will also be rewarding in many ways as we know we need to invest in our people, whether that's financially or through elements such as training and development.

The people that join us will be smart, confident, enthusiastic, inquisitive, flexible, open minded... and excited by the idea of working with us to grow the company.
