Description

GMMH provides a network of specialist services across Greater Manchester, the North West and beyond.

These include forensic mental health services for adults, CAMHS, community drug and alcohol recovery services and further specialist services such as the National Centre for Mental Health and Deafness, the John Denmark Unit.

The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will be a member of the multi-disciplinary mental health care team.

They will have a personal case load and will be responsible for assessment, formulation and prescribing of care planning including discharge planning within agreed protocols.

Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners will take up components of the ACP role as competences are developed and are demonstrated in practice.
