Palo Alto Security Consultant - Hampshire


A market leading networking client of ours is seeking a Palo Alto Consultant to join their Presales and Consulting Team on a permanent basis.

The client is a leader in their field; they are a globally trusted infrastructure specialist with an excellent reputation across the industry providing managed security/networking services, IaaS, technical consultingand much more.


In this varied role, you will take on presales and installation consultancy, the team serves as an extension to both vendor and reseller technical teams.

You will undertake a variety of different tasks including presales meetings/Webex sessions as well asscoping and installation consultancy for the clients' partners.

You will also be expected to support the sales team when required and assist with any technical queries


Requirements:


  • Previous experience working in industry with wide exposure to a variety of different technologies, specifically Palo Alto products
  • Previous experience in supporting clients with presales and consultancy activity
  • Possess an excellent understanding of networking and/or security, including migrations
  • Experience designing and implementing Palo Alto solutions
  • Possess exceptional communication skills with the ability to break down technical terms
  • Ideally hold the PCNSE and PCNSC certifications
  • UK driving license/willing to travel when required
Offering a competitive package;
up to £62,000 PAbasic plus a 10% company bonus.

Working from home agreement:

This role would require you to be onsite for the initial training/induction period however there will then be flexibility to work from home (50%) permanently in the future.


Travel:

You will need to be prepared to travel across the UK when required, there is also potential for international travel for conferences and consultancy engagements.
