My client is a leading not-for-profit organisation, looking to bolster its Procurement team with an interim Procurement Manager on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong potential to go permanent.


The main responsibilities of the interim Procurement Manager are:

  • Lead Category Management strategies to ensure the development, implementation, and delivery of a fully managed category portfolio.
  • Liaising with Buyers, agreeing on tenders and conducting a category plan around the expenditure.
  • Supporting budget holders and managers in their procurement activities.
  • Supporting the delivery of the annual procurement plan and contributing to policies and procedures.

  • Previous experience in tendering within procurement.
  • Experience in multifunctional purchasing.
  • Excellent communication ability and experience in working within a highpressure environment.
  • Experience in working within the public sector.


My client can offer a flexible approach to working with the opportunity to work remotely for the whole duration of the contract, however for the first 3 weeks, you will be required to come into the office based in the Milton Keynes area.
