Description

Neon Contracts are urgently seeking Production Operatives on a weekly full-time basis working in Coleshill B46.

Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturer of Steel and Plastic Cables.

The Flexo Department includes stainless steel and Galvanised steel conduit solutions and systems.

Available hours: 4 day shift

07:00 AM - 19:00 PM - 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)

Starting wage
- £10.42

19:00 PM -07:00 AM - 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)

Starting Wage
- £12.12

You will be responsible for:

Maintain the efficient operation of the machine lubrication system by monitoring oil levels and topping up with clean lubricant whenever necessary
Monitor component quality through periodic checking, using the correct gauges, measuring or inspection equipment for the job
Loading coils using the Quickchange coiler and able to operate lifting equipment
Thread steel strip through form rolls straight and curve guides
Wind steel strip onto a mandrel to produce conduit to the required quality standard:
Collecting conduit in the machine drum also to join all types of conduit with welding equipment and transfer conduit into the required storage medium
A minimum of 1 years experience in a production and factory setting
Machine operating experience while also being able to join conduit
Quality control experience while also being able to complete production documentation

This will be reviewed by a member of our team who will consider your skills and experience against the criteria required for the role.
