    We are delighted to be working with an established, global manufacturing business based in Fife. They are currently recruiting a Senior Quality Engineer to support the business in the definition, development, delivery, and support of all products according to the specified functional, performance and quality requirements.

    As a company that prides itself on innovation and excellence in a variety of industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Military and Space, as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in upholding their commitment to delivering top-tier products that meet and exceed customer expectations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough verification and validation of designs, components, materials, and production processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for quality matters, liaising with both customers and suppliers to address alerts or non-conformances promptly.
    • Generate accurate 8D/NC reports and manage waivers or concessions as necessary.
    • Oversee First Article Inspection reports and ensure adherence to BS EN 9102 standards.
    • Act as a deputy for the Quality & Environment Manager when required.
    • Support product development from conception to delivery, ensuring appropriate plans and procedures are in place for each project.
    • Collaborate with the Engineering team on project risk management and product definition.
    • Provide progress reports on all product assurance activities.

    Requirements:

    • HND/Degree in Engineering or Quality.
    • Experience in a similar Senior Quality role.
    • Familiarity with BS EN 9100, BS EN 9145, and ECSS standards preferred.
    • Proficiency in reading technical drawings/schematics.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
