    Wentworth James Group are a skilled engineering and technical recruitment agency supplying blue and white collar personnel to companies throughout the UK. We are working with a large group of companies that are looking for an export sales executive within the Canadian market.

    JOB SCOPE AND AIMS

    As a market leading engineering manufacturing company we are currently seeking a sales professional to join our team.

    PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • You will be responsible for the performance and development of the Canadian market. Responsible for the development of the area through bringing on board new customers in the target areas, through prospecting & cold calling. Attains sales goals and profitability through following the Export sales strategy, to maintain discipline, focus and drive within the Export sales team. Reporting to the International Sales Manager in a timely manner on the performance of the Canadian markets, to complete daily KPI'S and call plans issued by the International Sales Manager. To develop the sales areas through arranging and completing on site customer visits, to develop the sales areas through arranging and completing off site visits at the customers / potential customers locations. To assist the International sales Manager and to provide cover to the International sales department when required

    Targets

    To hit and exceed the sales target.

    To hit and exceed the KPI'S set.

    SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

    Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a C grade pass in Maths and English.

    Experience

    Previous sales experience in sales preferably in a technical manufacturing export environment.

    Selling background within a manufacturing/engineering industry

    Articulate

    Confident and personable manner

    Knowledge of the fastener industry is advantageous

    High level of interpersonal skills

    Excellent planning, organising and prioritising skills

    Ability to make decisions

    Ability to use initiative

    Ability to implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
