- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Geography lessons that align with the school's curriculum
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to explore and develop a deep understanding of geographical concepts
- Utilize various teaching techniques to cater to different learning styles and abilities within the classroom
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development
- Create and implement effective strategies to manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources and best practices for teaching Geography
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences to support student learning and development
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching Geography in a primary or secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Effective classroom management skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices and policies
