- Optimizing and continuously developing our IT infrastructure
- Installing and supporting user workstations, including mobile devices, using the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Designing and implementing complex Linux and Windows server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, IIS)
- Managing Windows domain administration, including identity and access management (IAM)
- Implementing the global security concept (backup, firewall, endpoint detection and response, patch management)
- Overseeing the public key infrastructure (PKI)
- Supporting and enhancing Oracle and MS SQL databases
- Administering LAN/WAN infrastructure and central storage systems (SAN)
- Managing VMware, Citrix XenApp server farms, and Docker containers
- Administering and progressing Microsoft 365 and Azure services
- Planning and executing hardware and software updates
- Monitoring all IT components for security and availability using existing tools
- Collaborating on and managing complex IT projects with cross-departmental cooperation
- Obtaining hardware and software offers from external service providers and suppliers
- Creating user documentation, system documentation, and installation instructions
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration, computer science degree, or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in the IT field
- Current Microsoft certification is advantageous
- Solid knowledge of Linux and Microsoft operating systems, including Windows domain and public key infrastructure administration (PKI)
- Experience in Dell storage systems administration, Veeam Backup, VMware vSphere (or similar hardware/software), Microsoft 365, and Azure Services
- Ideal knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructures with Cisco components, SQL and Oracle databases, Citrix XenApp, and Docker containers
- Flexibility and willingness to participate in regular IT on-call duty
- Strong customer and service orientation
- High analytical ability, quality-conscious and conscientious work style
- Reliability and sense of responsibility
- Independent work style and strong teamwork abilities
- Good written and verbal English skills
- Full-time 38.5 hours/week
