Systems / Infrastructure Security Engineer - Healthcare

Remote Based

12 month fixed term contract

Salary:
£70,000

Role:


As Systems / Infrastructure Security Engineer you will need to adopt a security lens to establish the risk and opportunities a cloud first strategy presents.

A core part of the role is working with Azure / M365 and you will need to be "hands on" when itcomes to servers which will be core to the role itself.

This role will have incident response responsibility. What frameworks are you used to and can you explain the steps involved?


The role will have responsibility of moving recently deployed Network Access Control solution from alert mode into full control mode.

In a modern connected hospital what challenges do you see with taking on this project from an operational perspective?


Experience / Skills Required
*Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - being able to communicate complex technical security matters & their associated risks to colleagues, irrespective of their level in the organisation and technical knowledge.

*Network access control (NAC)

*Azure / M365

*Servers

*A natural curiosity to identify areas of IT security flaws. Tenacity in seeking remediation's without impacting business operations.

*Exposure to a wide variety of client and server endpoint security solutions covering Windows clients - all supported versions
