Description

Working alongside the Transport Planning team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service through giving clear direction to the customer via the delivery team and liaising with both internal and external customers.

Page Personnel have partnered with an exciting multi-national business who are now looking to add a Logistics Coordinator to their already high performing Transport team.

The client is a leader in their industry specialising in the distribution of machineryacross the UK

Description
As Logistics Coordinator you will be reporting directly into the Logistics Manager and can expect to have the following responsibilities:

Call to confirm delivery arrangements
Arrange alternative delivery arrangements with end customers, lead customer and planning team
Coordinate on road issues with drivers
Be the key interface between customers ensuring a balanced approach is taken to delivering high levels of customer service
Record call results with high levels of accuracy
Operational administration as required
Any other duties as requested

Profile
The successful Logistics Coordinator will come with the following skill-set:

Previous experience working in a customer facing role within a logistics environment
Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
Excellent communication skills

Job Offer

Basic salary £25k £30k
25 days of holiday a year, plus bank holidays
