The role
This role is part of Customer & Communities where you'll help us to lead the way keeping our promise to more than 100,000 customers.
What you'll achieve
Key Responsibilities
- Effective liaison/communication with ET and SMT members as required to achieve the objectives of the Customer and Communities Directorate.
- To provide PA and secretarial support to the Customer and Communities Directorate, ET and boards, to include agenda preparation, taking minutes, room bookings, raising PO's, sourcing events, diary management etc.
- To regularly review budget reports in partnership with the Finance Department and produce summary reports for review by the Executive Director and SMT. To highlight budgetary or performance concerns and provide assurance via SMT members of actions taken to correct any concerns.
- To hold regular performance reviews for the division, identifying and analysing trends with KPIs and providing narrative for the Executive Director and SMT.
- To produce reports for ET/boards on behalf of the Executive Director, compiling content from SMT and provide supporting narrative.
- General administration and ad hoc project work
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role of Executive Assistant you will need to have previous and demonstrable experience working within a similar role at a similar level.
Essential skills
- Expert level MS office skills
- Superior organisational and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Experience of supporting board meetings or similar with production of agenda, minutes and meeting arrangements
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Ability to work flexibly and cope with rapidly changing priorities when necessary
