    Invision are a proud recruitment partner an Established Main Contractor who are seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager for a new Midlands Regional Office. The Company specialise in fast-track Design and Build projects, They are steel frame specialist who build new build Retail Parks or Industrial and Logistics warehouses within the E-Commerce sector. The Business Development Manager will be the lead within the region helping the company to reach their next phase of turnover. We are specifically looking for someone with established relationships within the Industrial and Logistics arena.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities through market research, industry analysis, and networking.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including negotiation and contract drafting.
    • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market presence.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential business risks and opportunities.
    • Prepare and present regular reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and foster new business relationships.
    • Continuously seek feedback and incorporate it into the improvement of sales strategies and processes.
    • Mentor and coach junior members of the business development team, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

    Qualifications and Desirable Experience

    • Proven track record of success in business development and sales
    • Previous experience working with an Industrial and Logistics Main Contactor
    • Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and develop actionable insights.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Flexibility to travel as needed.
