Veterinary Surgeon - Beverley, United Kingdom - NSV Recruitment
Description
Job DescriptionOur Client's veterinary practice is expanding and looking for a new team member to join them, either as an addition or to help expand the services they provide to their clients.
They are a small and friendly team consisting of two veterinary surgeons, three nurses, and one VCA, supported by an experienced front-of-house team.
The Lead Vet and practice owner is originally from the area and chose to return to establish the practice 10 years ago to provide caring and compassionate service to her local community.
About Their Practice:
The friendly, relaxed, and collaborative culture has resulted in many team members staying with the practice for several years. Support and advice on cases are readily available, as staff frequently exchange thoughts throughout the day. The practice has adapted its approach to support this interest, leading to Bronze ISFM 'cat-friendly' status.
As an ISFM accredited practice, they conduct 'cat-only' clinics two evenings and one morning each week, with separate cat and dog wards in their stand-alone facility.
They are also exploring becoming a Dogs Trust 'dog-friendly' practice.Additionally, they serve as a nurse training practice and host monthly lunch and learns to support the progression of their team.
Likewise, the practice encourages and supports any interests a new veterinary surgeon brings to the team. The Role:
This role can be full-time or part-time, and they offer a flexible rota to accommodate your commitments. Their typical rota includes a mix of consultations and surgeries, but they can accommodate individuals seeking a consult-only role.
They have flexibility in their diary, with each veterinary surgeon having a slightly different schedule for breaks, and their nursing team assists with specific consultations and procedures to support the veterinary surgeons throughout the day.
There may be opportunities for occasional sole charge, depending on team holidays, and ideally, you will join their 1 in 4 Saturday rota (8:45-12:45), although this can be discussed during the interview.
This position is suitable for a veterinary surgeon comfortable with routine consultations and surgeries, aiming to structure their career in a way that best suits their commitments.
Compensation & Benefits:
In addition to a salary commensurate with experience (£40,000-£55,000), they offer a competitive benefits package, including:
