We are looking to recruit academic tutors to join our Federation Primary team to provide inspirational tutoring and role modelling to selected pupils who need extra support in developing their reading, writing or mathematical skills and understanding through tutoring sessions.
We are looking for 2 academic tutors to run tutoring sessions for pupils from Year 1 to Year 6.As an academic tutor you will work with various pupils in small group settings to support them to make good or accelerated progress in either English (reading or writing) or Maths through quality teaching.
We are looking for tutors with experience and knowledge of the primary curriculum.
Tutoring is a great way for graduates to experience teaching and serve as an entry route to the profession for those considering teaching long term, as well as an opportunity to make a difference in the community while gaining valuable work experience.
For those wishing to enter the teaching profession this would be an excellent opportunity to gain experience of teaching in a primary setting.

Koinonia Federation is a federation of two schools, St Mary Magdalene CE All Through School and Christ Church CE in four campuses, based in Greenwich, south-east London.
