PERMANENT ROLE / 33 DAYS HOLIDAY / EARLY FINISH EVERY FRIDAY / PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITIES / OVERTIME PAID AT PREMIUM RATE

An opening for an Industrial Engineer at a Redditch based, Aerospace manufacturer. This role will be accountable for delivering consistent product to schedule and to standard.

1. Analyse operations design workflows and production processes
2. Develop, design and production standards in cooperation with management
3. Conduct time studies based on new product introduction or updated process changes
4. Establish computer-based productivity labour standards
5. Applying Industrial Engineering concepts and techniques
6. Assisting in developing models, data bases, and spreadsheets to analyse data
7. Introducing new product to set standards and process
8. Adopt new technology / novel processing routes

The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:

• Degree educated engineer, preferably experienced producing aerospace products
• HNC or ONC qualification preferred, but not essential if relevant experience demonstrated
• Foundation understanding of material science and metallurgy
• Forging, Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Process and design understanding
• Proven track record
