We currently have an opportunity available for a

Project Support Administrator to join our busy Engineering team working in

Exeter. You will join us on a

full time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a salary of

£23,000 - £28,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.

**About the role: As our Project Support Administrator you will assist the Delivery, Project and Assistant Project Managers and the delivery team with administrative tasks specifically relating to project and programme delivery which will include reporting, budget management and scheme progress.


The role will cover activities associated with maintaining key project documentation, updating databases, initiating purchase orders, processing invoices, completion of financial processes, producing reports as appropriate and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.


What you'll be doing:


  • Maintaining key project documentation, accurately completing, recording, logging and storing key documentation to ensure that all engineering projects have a clear and concise audit trail in line with Company procedures.
  • Carry out a range of data collection and analysis to ensure that the project teams have all required information to progress the delivery programme.
  • Creation of projects, within the Company's Ellipse computer system, in line with corporate systems and procedures.
  • Tracking the progress of key documents within South West Water and chasing outstanding actions where applicable. This will involve liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organising meetings, car hire, timesheet input and other administrative duties as agreed.

What we are looking for:


  • 5 GCSEs including grade C or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent
  • Experience of manipulating and analysing data effectively, using computer based spreadsheet packages.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to manage high work loads with ability to organise logically and methodically
  • Confident when dealing with internal and external contacts of all levels
