DevOps Engineer - Up to £650 Inside IR3- Remote Working

Overview:

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading Oil and Gas organisation who are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join one of their growing teams across the country working on a remote basis.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead the technical implementation of the DevOps platform working closely with their product owners.
Be accountable for platform quality within your team.
Play a key role in the buildout, migration to and operation of the data platforms.
Make architectural designs and decisions.
Help solve interesting and difficult technical challenges.
Maintain a common set of tools and standards, shared across the company.
Evaluate new technology, ensuring the platform stays relevant.

Skills & Experience:

Experience working with cloud infrastructure & platforms (ideally AWS).
Extensive knowledge of infrastructure as code, containerisation, automation and monitoring tools (e.g. Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, MQ and Azure DevOps).
Experience designing, building and operating highly available, highly scalable systems.
Understanding of data platform and tooling in the data domain.
Experience leading a technical team.
