DevOps Engineer - Up to £650 Inside IR3- Remote Working
Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading Oil and Gas organisation who are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join one of their growing teams across the country working on a remote basis.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical implementation of the DevOps platform working closely with their product owners.
- Be accountable for platform quality within your team.
- Play a key role in the buildout, migration to and operation of the data platforms.
- Make architectural designs and decisions.
- Help solve interesting and difficult technical challenges.
- Maintain a common set of tools and standards, shared across the company.
- Evaluate new technology, ensuring the platform stays relevant.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure & platforms (ideally AWS).
- Extensive knowledge of infrastructure as code, containerisation, automation and monitoring tools (e.g. Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, MQ and Azure DevOps).
- Experience designing, building and operating highly available, highly scalable systems.
- Understanding of data platform and tooling in the data domain.
- Experience leading a technical team.
