Overall Purpose of the Job:


To Help deliver technical and market expertise in the designated product line whilst assisting with the introduction of new products and services within the area of responsibility.


Key Activities and Accountabilities:


  • Assist in providing a link between Operations, Business Development, Engineering and product line technical groups with support of senior personnel.
  • May assist in providing product technical support to internal and external customers where required with support of senior personnel.
  • Learn and assist to explain product line equipment processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that operational standards for the Product Line are effectively communicated and adhered to with support of senior personnel.
  • May participate in tests, pilots or trials of current or new products or equipment to assess suitability.
  • May participate in practical training to further improve product knowledge.
  • May coordinate the engagement and use of third party services and equipment within assigned location.
  • Assist with introduction of new products and services based on firsthand knowledge of product line technology and customer needs.
  • Participate and attend regular meetings to discuss operational issues and share updates on technical bulletins, procedures and processes.
  • May be involved in developing product specific sales plans for area of responsibility with support of senior personnel.
  • Assist in providing support operations to track product line assets as necessary.
  • Support Operations with day to day running of operations where required.
  • Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro's reputation is minimised. Provide leadership in all ethical issues; ensure employees are aware of Expro's compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations or conflicts of interest.
  • Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes & systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Act on reported deficiencies and approve deviations from standard procedures as appropriate.
  • Ensure that employees adhere to and comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Provide leadership in HSE; encourage employees to take responsibility and be accountable for their own and others' safety and provide an environment where they feel authorised to stop any unsafe job. Ensure that all incidents and nonconformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines; ensure that all incidents are investigated and corrective actions raised as required; where appropriate, participates in incident investigations.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications:


  • Mechanical engineering / technical experience preferred
