The Prudential Assurance Review Assistant Vice President (AVP) will join a team which acts as an additional line of defense to ensure effective governance and control over the Regulatory Reporting production and filing process across UK and EMEA Prudential Reporting.
The team manages the Regulatory Reporting Framework (RRF) which is one of the key control programs of the bank, playing a pivotal role in the overall regulatory reporting control environment and having direct impact on both internal and external partners of Credit Suisse.
Based in the Finance Division, the team carries out planned reviews and deep-dives across prudential reporting as part of effective regional RRF Program management.
Additionally, the team operates the committees for senior management governance and oversight of regulatory reporting in the UK and EMEA.
The Prudential Assurance Review function is responsible for ensuring that the RRF is operating effectively with appropriate governance and for periodically monitoring and testing the controls surrounding the preparation and filing of regulatory reports in accordance with the risk assessment framework to ensure completeness and accuracy.
The team operates independent of the day-to-day regulatory report preparation process.The team also supports the EMEA CFO in managing and executing their prescribed responsibilities under the UK Senior Managers and Certification Regime.

The Prudential Assurance Review team has been formed to enhance our controls over regulatory reporting and is within our Legal Entity Finance team.

We are looking for someone who is an ambitious, organized individual with an interest in regulatory reporting, risk controls and governance.
You have excellent analytical skills to manage data and information, identify issues and themes and present them clearly and persuasively to a range of stakeholders.
- Proven experience of Prudential Regulatory Reporting, accounting or legal qualification desirable;
- Detailed understanding of risk and controls, able to identify control weaknesses and propose remediation;
- Able to manage work autonomously, to drive a project / task forward and produce an endstate product that can be presented to senior management with mínimal revision required;
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and able to build positive working relationships and operate effectively across multiple teams;
