Description
Are you an Operating Department Practitioner looking to take the next step in your career within a supportive and professionally rewarding environment?

About the role and our team
Join our team as an Orthopaedic Theatre Team Leader at Nobles Hospital on the Isle of Man

Within this role, you will provide experienced and professional leadership to the theatre team and be responsible for the effective first line management of practitioners, ensuring they are adequately trained, educated and skilled, and that all professional practice is in accordance with the appropriate codes of practice.

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating clinical care within the perioperative environment and support patients through investigation, diagnosis, treatment and beyond.

This role allows you to utilise your leadership experience through teaching junior and unqualified staff, ensuring development needs are identified, met and a cohesive multidisciplinary team approach is maintained.

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual, with good organisation and communication skills to inspire, motivate and support our close knit team.

If you would like to make a difference to patient care, service delivery and education, then this is the role for you

What can this role offer me?

By joining us you'll be stepping away from NHS pressures and demands, as the Island's healthcare system is similar but separate to the UK NHS.

We can offer you a varied surgical case load that will enhance your knowledge and experience, as well as provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate and develop your clinical skills and abilities.

As well as this, you will be able to expand on your leadership experience by acting as Deputy for the Operating Department Manager and/or Theatre Co-ordinator when required.

You will also have access to our Learning, Education and Development Centre and the fantastic range of fully funded courses we support.

We know changing jobs can be daunting at times so we have a social buddy scheme at Noble's whereby if you are successful, you will be paired up with a fellow Nurse buddy who can show you the ropes and help you settle in here at Noble's.
