    Working 36.5 hours per week

We have an exciting new role within the Assessment Management and Compliance Team. The successful candidates will work alongside a knowledgeable and experienced team responsible for housing investment for the 60,000-council housing stock and help shape the future of the team.

    Birmingham has a portfolio of circa 60,000 social housing units and this is your opportunity to play a part in looking after the maintenance, investment and safety of these properties.

    The role entails managing the capital programme for City Council Housing Assets. We are looking for someone with experience of project managing contractors and undertaking capital programmes from inception to handover which involve engaging with internal customers , governance , tenants , leaseholder, contract management and ensuring successful delivery of the capital programme

    Knowledge of building regulations, safety issues, and relevant codes of practice is expected. Good communication and team-working skills are important, and you should also have the ability to use Microsoft Office to prepare correspondence and reports.
