Quality Control Inspector - Christchurch - £20,000
A Quality Control Inspector is required for our client based at Hurn Airport.

You will be inspecting all products that arrive and leave the warehouse ensuring no damage and that they are repaired in accordance with company requirements.

The working hours for this role are 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure all parts that arrive are undamaged, inspected and repaired
  • Inspect all parts that are being shipped to ensure they are undamaged and repaired
  • Maintain records of all transactions both manual and computerised
  • Update the stores system and inventory management systems
  • Ensure all parts are packaged and handled correctly and sent to the right location
  • Report any damaged items to the Lead of Operations immediately
  • Ensure all delayed items are reported to action can be taken
  • Liaise with the sales team regarding products which require priority
  • Prepare and coordinate components ensuring the correct paperwork is included

Skills & experience required:

  • Experience working in a warehouse/store environment
  • Ability to prioritise tasks/workload with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliable and dependable
  • IT literate
