    We are a very passionateand driven team so adding a new Financial Accounting Manager to ourteam who matches our level of drive and ambition is key. TheStaysure Group is growing with fantastic opportunitiesahead.

    We are looking for a Qualified ACCA/ACAAccountant to join our team. Your role will involve thebelow:

    • Supervise and review thefinancial month end close process for the Staysure group withparticular focus on meeting reporting deadlines and review ofjournal postings and other work performed by junior members of theteam.
    • Lead and manage 3 direct reports andoverall assist the junior members of the team wheneverrequired
    • Develop plans to significantly reducethe time taken to complete the monthend process and reportingoutputs
    • Identify and assist with theimplementation of systems and processes to automate and develop thefinance controls team strategy
    • Develop andmaintain the Group accounting policies in line with FRS 102 to keepabreast with changes in accountingstandards
    • Key contact for external auditors andliaising with auditors to ensure timely completion of the grouplegal entities statutory accounts
    • Support thedesign and implementation of a robust control environment focussedon risk management and strong internal controlframework
    • Deliver new ways of working with theability to challenge the status quo through the use of initiativecreativity and innovative thinking.
    • Personalcredibility as the leader with the ability to provide strongleadership motivation and direction for junior members of theteam.


    EssentialExperience:

    • ACCA/ACAQualified
    • Technical Accountancyexperience
    • IFRS/FRS/UK GAAPexperience
    • VAT and Corporation taxexperience
    • Experience working with groupconsolidations accounts preparation audit in either practice orindustry
    • Process and policyimprovement
    • Extensive external audit processexperience
    • Experience of working withmultiple legal entities
    • Experience working inor auditing large or complex environments
    • Experience of control and process design testing andreporting

    DesirableExperience:

    • Experience in treasury functions
    • Experience within a regulated sector with reporting andfinancial compliance background
    • Sage X3 ZAPPVENA systems experience
