We have a current opportunity for a Senior Supervisor on a contract basis. The position will be based in and around Doncaster to York, with the occasional commute to Darlington.


This is an opportunity for a Senior Supervisor to work for a Tier 1 award winning client, who specilise design and manufacturing, of civils, track, reactive maintenance, electrification, signalling, power systems and rail plant.

This will be a long term contract for a Senior Supervisor on a large Enhancement Scheme of Track Renewals.

Key Experience

  • 1. Background in Track Renewals, on similar projects
  • Experience in managing a team of people/supervisors
  • Planning the day/shifts
  • Problem solving
  • Commercial background
Some responsibilities will include

  • 1. Day to day management of a team of supervisors
  • Planning along side the Senior Engineers
  • Conducting meetings with clients
  • Liasing with subcontractors
  • Ensuring all schemes are completed on time and under budget
Rates will vary due to experience - £350 - £450 per day umbrella
Start date - Earliest 15th Feb, notices to be considered
Length - 6 months initial contract to be extended
